Alejandro Betancourt Lopez is a serial entrepreneur and executive. Betancourt moved to the US for his high school and college education. He landed his first job in the energy sector, where his expertise in economics and international trade helped the company to expand its operations. By 2004, he became BGB Energy’s director, a Kawasaki Heavy Industry subsidiary.

Betancourt became the president of Hawkers in 2016, receiving the company when it was worth $60 million. Through the active participation of Alejandro Betancourt Lopez, the company grew steadily and started spreading its wings. They partnered with celebrities and other known companies to help market their sunglasses, thus boosting their popularity significantly.
Auro Travel
Alejandro Betancourt Lopez monitored the personal transportation sector since 2009, when Uber came into being. The company grew steadily as more people chose to travel using Uber due to the ease of booking a ride online. This was just one of the ways that technology was disrupting the regular running of society. In 2017, Betancourt founded his transportation company, Auro Travel. The company employs over 100 drivers and coordinates the movement of about 3000 drivers in Spain. This makes it among the largest fleet in Spain.
